Ortega’s Cocina features Authentic Mexican Cuisine, with focus on the delicacies of Central Mexico. Nowhere else will you find Mexican traditional dishes that have been passed down through the family for generations.

Each meal is prepared from scratch with fresh ingredients every day. At Ortega’s Cocina our Mexican chefs roast fresh chiles poblanos to prepare the traditional chiles rellenos, the mole poblano, first concocted by nuns in the convent of Santa Rosa, in Puebla, is made with all the ingredients required by the nun’s recipe.

Our Central Mexico style tamales are made with stone ground corn and stuffed with meat, jalapeño-cheese, or vegetables. You will be impressed by their exquisitely moist texture.
Our home-made style caramel flan, a very popular dessert in Mexico, is a sweet finish to any meal or just to be accompanied with a cup café de olla.
